Njombe University Purpose

• To contribute to the development of the Southern part of Tanzania in health, agriculture, industries, in energy production and preservation
• To develop the skills needed to serve the community in positions of leadership in areas like health, education, administration and business
• To educate a community-concerned religious leadership, and to integrate ethics and social concerns in all forms of education, research and practical and economic development
